We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging and therapy procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring the highest quality of imaging services for our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging and therapy procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Conduct quality control procedures
- Provide patient care and education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field
- One year of experience in nuclear medicine technology or related field
- ARRT(N) and/or CNMT certification or eligibility
This is a per diem position with a standard 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm. The work environment is fast-paced and requires manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. Some occupational risk and exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste are inherent in this role.
