The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents at Dresher Hill Health & Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, promoting a safe and supportive environment, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with daily living activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, medication, or treatment plans to the nursing staff.
- Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes and medication administration.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing, or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a focus on resident-centered care.
