Lifespace Communities is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Claridge Court. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing services to all residents on assigned neighborhoods or programs, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Participate in on-the-job training for newly hired team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care, ensuring a seamless and effective care delivery process.
- Accurately and timely document resident conditions and nursing needs, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.
- Report pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents in a timely manner, fostering open communication and trust within the team.
- Execute treatments as necessary, documenting status and observing reactions to medications and treatments, ensuring resident safety and well-being.
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth transition process.
- Plan resident admissions as ordered by physicians, perform assessments, verify orders with physicians, and notify relevant departments as necessary.
- Prepare and present accurate and thorough reports to the on-coming shift, ensuring continuity of maximum resident care.
Requirements:
- One year of nursing experience in a long-term facility is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and service.
