AV Project Manager Job Description

TierPM is seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to lead our Audio Visual integration projects from award to closure. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of recent AV industry experience in project management, with a strong background in planning, scheduling, tracking, and status reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage AV commercial integration and installation projects for corporate, education, house of worship, and government customers.
  • Coordinate project meetings with installation and technical staff, and communicate project progress and changes to clients.
  • Work directly with customers to establish and publish project timelines and completion dates.
  • Responsible for each project from the awarding stage through final project completion.
  • Assist with scheduling of company installation and technical staff and any associated subcontractors.
  • Coordinate shipment dates of all project-related equipment.
  • Process project change orders and coordinate project documentation.
  • Work with administration to ensure accurate and timely billing to customers.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of recent project management experience in the AV industry.
  • Must have project management experience including planning, scheduling, tracking, and status reporting.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to read and interpret general business documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • CTS and/or other AV industry certifications desired.
