Nurse Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Implement physician orders and administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate patient conditions, assess their needs, and collaborate with the nursing team to develop effective care plans.
- Direct ancillary personnel, promoting teamwork and maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
- Assess patient responses to care rendered, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Graduate of an accredited academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree) and current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Demonstrated expertise in vascular surgery nursing, with a strong understanding of relevant medical procedures and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
