Medical Nursing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient care departments, ensuring quality of care and compliance with regulations
- Coordinate and monitor staffing for all shifts and maintain appropriate staffing levels and skill mix
- Participate in developing, reviewing, and updating departmental policies and procedures
- Identify and implement best practices to provide improved quality care and services
- Assess and monitor clinical nursing practice for optimal patient care
- Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience required
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as charge nurse, preceptor, quality improvement champion or other related leadership experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement, clinical care delivery processes, staffing, & budgeting
- Knowledge of Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission & other federal, state, & local regulatory requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of critical care or emergency department nursing experience
- Bachelors degree in nursing
Work location is on-site (KP designated office, medical office building or hospital). Worker location must align with Kaiser Permanente's Authorized States policy.
