ASSEMBLER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Assembler for a manufacturing facility. In this position, you will be responsible for the assembly of door seals and loading dock doors, ensuring that all products conform to the company's quality standards and industry regulations.
Compensation
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Work Schedule
Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to specified shop orders and technical drawings.
- Utilize basic shop mathematics as needed, conduct quality checks on products, and report any discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
- Follow established safety protocols and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment as per training guidelines.
- Operate forklifts, machinery, and various tools as required.
- Prepare parts for shipping by pulling and packaging them, maintaining accurate inventory records, and notifying management of low raw material supplies.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory.
- Ability to comprehend instructions with minimal oversight, along with basic reading and math skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and possessing good manual dexterity.
- Physical endurance and strength to safely lift and move heavy items.
- Professional demeanor and a collaborative spirit are essential.
