We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiology team at Atrium Health-Cabarrus in Concord, NC.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include evaluating new patients, consulting with colleagues, and developing effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new patients and consult with colleagues as needed
- Diagnose and treat common conditions in the cardiovascular population
- Facilitate and order diagnostic studies including echocardiograms and cardiac catheterization
- Triage calls from outside facilities regarding cardiovascular patients
Qualifications:
- Acute Care Certification (NPs) or certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PAs)
- 2+ years of experience in Cardiology preferred; 1+ year of experience as a provider in an acute care setting recommended
Shift Schedule: 7 on/ 7 off, 12:00pm-10:30pm, Thursday to Wednesday rotation.
