Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Valid nursing license in the state of West Virginia
  • 1-2 years of critical care experience
  • Proficiency in ICU skill set
  • Experience with Bipap, Cpap, Mechanical Ventilation, telemetry, and critical drips
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Preferred: CRRT and IABP experience
Additional Information
  • Charting System: Meditech/EPIC
  • RNs are required to titrate drips
  • Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
  • Common Patient Diagnoses: Post-operative vascular, hemodynamically stable cardiac dysrhythmias, CVA, Sepsis, Renal patients, Stable acute MI, Unstable angina
  • Floating to ICU or Stepdown may be required
