About the Role

As a CNA at Avera, you will provide direct, personal care and services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will work under the direction of a licensed nurse to ensure that residents receive the highest quality of care and support. Your role will involve:

  • Providing daily care and services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting residents with daily activities, such as eating, walking, and using the bathroom
  • Monitoring residents' health and reporting any changes to the nursing team
  • Collaborating with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
What We Offer

At Avera, we offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A starting hourly rate of $18.25 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • A $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid out over 24 months

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be certified as a nursing assistant in the State of South Dakota within 120 days of starting this position
  • Have Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months if primary work shift is a night shift position
