Job Title: Nursery Aide

Shrine Catholic Grade School is seeking part-time aides for the infant and toddler program in our Early Childhood Center.

Job Summary

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and are committed to providing exceptional daily care and educational experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the lead teacher to assist with a variety of tasks contributing to safe and effective classroom operation in the infant/toddler classrooms.
  • Help prepare activities, assist in classroom content areas, supervise and help children with snack, lunch, and nap time, feed infants, sanitize tables and manipulatives, and assist with toileting/diapering as needed.
  • Follow all licensing guidelines and adhere to all school policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Able to work in a collaborative atmosphere with teachers, parents, and children.
  • Possess willingness to learn and demonstrate interest in early childhood development.
  • Must successfully complete State of Michigan required Criminal Background Check and fingerprinting.
  • Must have completed or be willing to complete Protecting God's Children training.
  • CPR/First Aid training is a plus, but must be willing to become certified within 90 days of hire.
