Position Overview:

Preferred Healthcare Staffing is in search of a skilled Traveling Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality cardiac imaging services at various healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize ultrasound technology to perform echocardiograms, assessing heart structure and function.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
  • Apply ultrasound gel and operate diagnostic equipment effectively.
  • Identify and document any cardiac abnormalities observed during imaging.

Qualifications:

  • Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience within the last 5 years.
