Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all phases of litigation, from inception to trial and appeal.
  • Representing clients in legal proceedings and making frequent court appearances.
  • Conducting thorough legal research to bolster case strategies and remain informed on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and responding to discovery requests and various legal documents.
  • Managing cases, which includes investigating claims, assessing damages, and negotiating settlements.
  • Collaborating with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure efficient case management.
  • Delivering exceptional client service, which includes maintaining regular communication and providing updates on case developments.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in trial, personal injury, asbestos, and legal research.
  • Skilled in drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Strong courtroom presence with extensive experience in making court appearances.
  • Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
