We are seeking a dedicated CT Imaging Technician PRN to help us achieve our objectives and enhance patient care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Imaging Technician operates in both inpatient and outpatient environments, performing a variety of CT scan imaging procedures essential for diagnosing medical conditions. You will utilize CT scan equipment to generate high-quality images for identifying pathologies and abnormalities in patients. Responsibilities include obtaining consent, preparing patients, and explaining procedures. The patient demographic may range from newborns to seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care tailored to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Determine the most appropriate anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other imaging staff as necessary.
  • Adhere to aseptic/sterile techniques for all procedures.
  • Operate within the CT Tech scope of practice according to established policies and procedures.
  • Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department.
  • Accurately complete required documentation immediately after each case.

Qualifications:

  • Florida Licensed General Radiographer.
  • ARRT certification.
  • CT Certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
