Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance workers to ensure the upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and installations of equipment and fixtures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential issues and develop plans for maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. facilities management, maintenance technology) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
