Teaching Opportunity in Philosophy

The Humanities Division at Mount Mary University is seeking qualified individuals for part-time adjunct teaching positions to teach undergraduate courses in Philosophy. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

  • Teach an undergraduate course in Philosophy and/or co-teach an undergraduate course that combines Philosophy and Theology.
  • Assignments may include day or evening courses and may be offered in delivery formats including in-person, hybrid, or online.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in the discipline or subfield of the course(s) taught.
  • Commitment to quality teaching in the liberal arts and to the social justice mission of the university.
  • Experience teaching diverse learners using inclusive practices is preferred.
