Tu Rol en Nuestro Equipo:

El Ingeniero de Empaque Senior colaborará con los equipos de Desarrollo de Nuevos Productos (NPD) para proporcionar orientación sobre el "Diseño para Distribución" que mejor satisfaga las necesidades de nuestros clientes. Por ejemplo, cantidades de cajas y empaques internos que faciliten el pedido por parte del cliente. Proporcionará información sobre decisiones de empaque secundario y terciario que impactarán en el manejo de distribución, costos de transporte y recepción y almacenamiento por parte del cliente. Ofrecerá información logística y orientación sobre optimización de costos considerando un modelo de costo total y un enfoque de cadena de suministro de extremo a extremo para nuevos productos y la cartera existente. Coordinará con el liderazgo de Operaciones y socios de distribución para evaluar, resolver problemas y optimizar la eficiencia logística.

Serás DISRUPTIVO a través de estas funciones y responsabilidades:
  • Colaborar con unidades de negocio y equipos de Desarrollo de Nuevos Productos para evaluar la preparación de distribución de nuevas introducciones de productos.
  • Proporcionar aportes al proceso de diseño de NPD con un enfoque de cadena de suministro de extremo a extremo centrado en la optimización de costos y servicios.
  • Evaluar oportunidades para mejorar el flujo de productos a través de la cadena de suministro y hacia nuestros clientes.
  • Identificar atributos de productos o planes de pedido que puedan impactar costos, servicio y flujo eficiente de materiales a través de nuestra cadena de suministro o la de los clientes.
  • Identificar oportunidades para un flujo eficiente de mercancías y desarrollar estrategias de mitigación para desafíos de NPD o de la cartera existente.
  • Trabajar de manera transversal con Operaciones, unidades de negocio, finanzas y equipos comerciales para mejorar los lanzamientos de NPD y los costos continuos.
  • Revisar la cartera actual para optimización de costos y servicio al cliente.
  • Capacidad para evaluar rápidamente atributos de productos y patrones de pedido que generen impactos en costos y servicios.
  • Proporcionar alternativas logísticas para resolver desafíos de comercialización de productos.
Las HERRAMIENTAS que aportarás:
  • Título en Logística o Ingeniería preferido.
  • 5-10 años de experiencia en Distribución y Transporte.
  • Conocimiento del portafolio de productos.
  • Comprensión del proceso de NPD y estrategia de comercialización.
  • Entender el flujo de materiales de productos y características que influyen en los costos de transporte y manejo de materiales.
  • Comprensión de la base de clientes y sus necesidades de servicio/logística.
  • Habilidades analíticas y capacidad para desarrollar modelos de costos totales o financieros.
  • Conocimiento de OSHA, almacenamiento de mercancías peligrosas y requisitos de transporte.
Otras HERRAMIENTAS que preferimos que tengas:
  • Experiencia en empaque es un plus.
  • Conocimiento de procesos de transporte.
  • Capacidad para gestionar múltiples proyectos de alto nivel simultáneamente.
