Job Summary
Resolute Health Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team on a per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Document patient information and progress in the medical record
Requirements
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire
- AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course
- Surgery - CNOR Board eligible/certified
- Post Anesthesia-CPAN Board eligible/certified
- GI Lab –SGNA Board eligible/certified
