Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and provide education on preventative health measures.
- Order and perform lab work, including wet prep microscopic exams, as necessary.
- Prescribe treatment for minor illnesses and consult with physicians regarding medication and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and legible documentation of patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement programs and attend continuing education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (orally and written)
- Knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures for nurse practitioners
- 5-8 years of work-related experience
- 8+ years of preferred work experience
$130,000 - $135,000 per year
