Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and daily living activities
  • Support individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Encourage participation in community activities and hobbies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized support plans

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, compassion, and reliability
