Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Join Pfizer's dynamic engineering team as an Electrical Engineer and play a pivotal role in the engineering and execution of projects that enhance Pfizer's workplace infrastructure reliability, capability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and regulatory compliance.
  • Design and implement electrical systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives, and plan resource requirements for projects across the department.
  • Develop project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are completed within approved scope, budget, schedule, and alignment with the master plan.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a relevant field within a regulated industry, with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Subject matter expertise in National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) requirements.
  • Knowledgeable in FDA, EMA, GxP and ICH regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
  • Experience implementing sustainable design and building practices.
