Position Overview:
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Embedded Systems, you will play a pivotal role in the management of software projects related to vehicle systems. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including government entities and prime contractors, to deliver technical guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert problem-solving capabilities in the areas of software development, production, and operational sustainment.
- Ensure the effective integration of software systems within ground combat vehicles.
- Assess potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to project management and engineering teams.
- Develop comprehensive briefs and documentation that outline system risks and progress for assigned projects.

Project Management:
- Lead a diverse team of government and contract personnel across multiple locations, ensuring timely delivery to meet operational requirements.
- Offer technical support for sensor integration within combat vehicle systems, including planning, design, and execution phases.
- Collaborate with government representatives to coordinate system testing and evaluation activities.

Technical Expertise:
- Analyze and troubleshoot vehicle-level issues, addressing both electrical and mechanical system challenges.
- Conduct essential engineering tasks, including risk management and data analysis.
- Manage project-related activities such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and cost analysis.

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Software) or Computer Science, accompanied by a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- Proven experience in vehicle software integration and familiarity with systems engineering and acquisition processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronics hardware and software specific to U.S. Army Ground Combat Vehicles.
- Background in vehicle software at the platform level.
