Paralegal Specialist

Job Title: Paralegal Specialist About the Job: As a Paralegal Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will provide legal and administrative support in areas like family law, international law, contract law, defense legal services, and judicial legal services. You will assist judges, Army lawyers, and unit commanders with legal matters and judicial work. Key Responsibilities: • Provide legal documents in courts-martial and other military justice matters • Provide assistance in legal affairs, such as power of attorney, wills, and separation decrees • Maintain law/administrative library • Monitor and review actions for accuracy Training and Benefits: Your training will enable you to interview witnesses, research court decisions and Army regulations, process legal claims and appeals, and prepare records of hearings, investigations, courts-martial, and courts of inquiry. You will also receive paid training, a monthly paycheck, and access to education benefits, including the Montgomery GI Bill and federal and state tuition assistance.
