Talent Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Triage Patients: Evaluate patients' conditions and prioritize their care based on the severity of their symptoms.
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform Diagnostic Tests: Conduct EKGs, blood draws, and other diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Monitor Patient Vitals: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide patients and their families with education and support to ensure a smooth transition to post-discharge care.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately record patient information in medical records to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage Emergency Situations: Respond quickly and decisively in emergency situations, including trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
- Nursing Experience: 1 year of experience in a nursing role (preferred)
- License/Certification: BLS Certification (preferred), RN (preferred)
- Relocation: Ability to relocate to Davis, CA before starting work (required)
