Position Overview:
The TIG Welder will be responsible for executing high-quality welding tasks in accordance with ASME standards. This role involves interpreting P&IDs and blueprints to effectively join, fit, fabricate, and assemble tanks and heaters based on project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cut surfaces or components as needed.
  • Position, fit, tack, weld, and finish various parts following established specifications.
  • Utilize overhead cranes, clamps, jigs, and fixtures to handle heavy components.
  • Weld in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in TIG welding.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and rigging is required.
  • Must successfully pass a welding test.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and specifications.
