Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve functional skills and independence for students with autism
  • Provide education and training to Occupational Therapy Assistants to promote best practices and professional growth
  • Collaborate with other team members, school personnel, and families to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to high standards of confidentiality and attendance

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program required
  • Current New York State OT license to practice required
  • Experience working with individuals with autism highly preferred
  • One to three years' experience working as an OT in a related setting preferred
