Licensed Mental Health Professional

At Divine Intervention Rehabilitation LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Mental Health Professional to lead our clinical services programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our programs meet the needs of the community and align with our performance goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:- Provide administrative leadership and strategic planning for clinical services programs.
- Develop and implement clinical treatment programs that promote a therapeutic environment.
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff, including direct and indirect social work services.
- Conduct assessments and reassessments, and provide counseling and communication services to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Develop and supervise community-based services, and develop discharge plans in conjunction with the multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care progress records, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date with social work and counseling trends and knowledge, and obtain required continuing education.
- Compile data for initial assessments and reassessments, and conduct face-to-face interviews with recipients and their families.
- Provide DSM-V diagnoses and Axis I-V/ICD-10 codes, and provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Provide at least 10-15 hours of billable services per week, and notify the provider's staff psychiatrist/medical psychologist of any significant changes in a recipient's physical or mental status.
- Request and input prior authorizations for Bayou Health members into Lauris Online, and provide all core services except medication management.
- Review and approve Clinical Progress Notes daily, and ensure all Clinical Assessments, Reassessments, ISRPs, Transition Plans, and Discharge Summaries are signed by all participants in Lauris Online.
- Provide 24-hour on-call crisis support for clients/staff as needed, and provide clinical reports on productivity monthly.
- Contact Bayou Health groups on the status of client authorizations, and initiate or participate in meetings to ensure the effectiveness of client services.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana by the applicable professional board of examiners.
- Minimum of five (5) years direct clinical practice, and three (3) years prior satisfactory supervisory and administrative experience is desirable but not required.
- Must pass a State Background Check and Drug Screening.
