Job Summary

Covenant Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the Admission Discharge Unit at Parkwest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the smooth transition of patients into and out of the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Correlate patient history and support systems within hospital care and nursing home care.
  • Assess learning needs of patients and families.
  • Develop and initiate plans of care, involving patients and families.
  • Recommend interventions and evaluate plans of care.
  • Resolve problems regarding moderately complex issues without oversight or supervision.
  • Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Complete required education assignments annually.
  • Work towards achieving goals and objectives, and participate in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
  • Minimum Experience: Must possess at least one (1) year of professional nursing experience.
  • Licensure Requirement: Must have and maintain Tennessee State RN licensure. CPR required.
