About the Role:

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Heraeus, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and production systems. This includes performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative work to ensure that all systems are functioning within target date/time requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and production systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and infrastructural repairs.
  • Maintain all site HVAC systems, including associated equipment, electrical, plumbing systems, and building management systems.
  • Perform daily rounds and reading inspections to report on any conditions that may affect site operations.
  • Facilitate and monitor field service or equipment maintenance contractors while on site performing work on all site systems.
  • Respond to site events or emergencies as required, including 24/7/365 coverage.
  • Prepare and update summary reports on all conditions within the building or equipment, including root cause analysis and recommended action items.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on all assigned site equipment, including operational and service methods.
  • Ensure compliance with all Heraeus EHS safety procedures and requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal, City, County, and State ordinances and regulations.
About You:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of related experience and a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and infrastructural repairs and maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and EPA 608 Technician Certification is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes, and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with contractors and Heraeus personnel.
