Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate quality concerns with urgency and accuracy.
  • Perform thorough and accurate documentation of inspection activities, including first/last-off measurements and evaluation of data, emphasizing any relevant deviations from existing standards.
  • Assist with quality testing activities for products as defined by internal/external requirements.
  • Support new and incoming programs, including internal kanban developments, failure mode identification, and initial safe launch strategy.
  • Verify and maintain the integrity of part-specific customer check fixtures and gages.
  • Help maintain Quality Alert management efforts with the Quality and Production Teams.
  • Attend weekly MRB meetings and present any findings as applicable.
  • Onboard and train new Quality Inspectors as needed.
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and, with Management approval, implement new methods accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree (preferably in science) and 2+ years of Quality Inspection experience or 5+ years of Quality Inspection/Technician experience.
  • Previous Quality experience required.
  • Use and knowledge of measurement devices (Calipers, Magna-mike, gauges...).
  • Intermediate Level using Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word...).
  • Previous Experience with ERP systems a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have good written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to sit, walk, bend, lift, and stand over long periods of time.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to work weekend overtime as needed.
