Material Flow Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials to extruders for processing. The ideal candidate will have basic math skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a hot environment for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and troubleshoot material blending systems
  • Clean material system filters, socks, and canisters
  • Monitor regrind usage and make adjustments based on departmental goals
  • Maintain material flow to all machines within your area of responsibility
  • Complete all required paperwork
  • Identify and label materials for later use
  • Maintain material hoses and replace when necessary
  • Perform housekeeping duties in designated areas
  • Write work orders for items in need of repair
  • Communicate with following shift and operators
  • Follow company safety procedures and policies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work 30 off the ground
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to work in a hot environment for 12 hours with breaks
