- Oversee the pay request process to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Monitor project costs and job cost reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and forecast quarterly total cost projection reports to inform business decisions.
- Implement and monitor training programs for all staff personnel to ensure skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor project labor and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
- Review and approve material, forming system, and equipment needs to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Assist estimating teams in bidding projects to ensure accurate pricing and proposal development.
- Lead the project's quality process to ensure adherence to McCarthy's quality standards.
- Develop, schedule, and lead project close-out processes to ensure smooth transitions and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and owners to represent McCarthy's core values and interests.
- Implement all applicable safety programs and EEO/affirmative action programs to ensure a safe and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering required.
- 7+ years of experience in complex commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Advanced knowledge of construction principles and practices required.
- Experience with subcontracts, subcontractors, and self-perform work.
- Proven track record of leading successful project teams and developing effective relationships with external entities.
- Excellent organizational, team management, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
