The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care based on individual needs and requirements. This role involves rotating to various areas within the department and performing duties that align with the nurse's scope of practice and the overall plan of care delivery at North Suburban Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Provide age-appropriate care to patients based on their physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.
- Rotate to other areas within the department as needed and perform duties that align with the nurse's scope of practice.
- Display positive support for North Suburban Medical Center and the entire HealthONE organization.
- Care for patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification with American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Additional certifications required: PALS and TNCC. ENPC is preferred.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
- One to two years' nursing experience minimum in emergency department acute care required.
North Suburban Medical Center has served the north metro Denver community for nearly 40 years, providing quality care and community dedication.
