The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ambulatory care, with experience in correctional healthcare a plus. You will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies, identifying patient health problems, and implementing medical care plans under the direction of a physician. Additionally, you will provide education to inmates, healthcare staff, and correctional staff, and document all healthcare contacts.

- Responds to and initiates care for medical emergencies throughout the facility.
- Identifies patient health problems and prescribes treatment under the direction of a physician.

- Documents all healthcare contacts.
- Adheres to safety and security policies and participates in disaster drills. Follows security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications.
- Delegates to and supervises other team members as appropriate.
- Adheres to Universal Precautions and other appropriate infection control practices.
- Attends training and meetings as required.
