Operating Room Assistant RN

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Operating Room Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care activities on the nursing unit, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, utilizing electronic patient tracking systems and medical records.
- Perform a variety of office, secretarial, and related duties, including managing intake and outbound documents, handling communications, and answering patient call lights.
- Provide routine patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and comfort.
- Coordinate daily patient care activities, assist nursing staff, and respond to patient requests.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, stocking, and replenishing unit supplies and equipment in a cost-efficient manner.
- Communicate patient information, concerns, or issues to interdisciplinary team members, facilitate unit communication, and ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist visitors, patients, and employees, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation, adhering to professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
