About the Role:

The Regional Sales Leadership Manager will play a key part in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction across the region. As a member of the senior sales leadership team, this position will be involved in strategic planning, decision-making, and execution to achieve business objectives.

This leadership role requires an escalation of skills and ability from sales management to sales leadership. The successful candidate will drive performance management, coaching, and deployment of the Local Sales Organization to enhance the customer experience and achieve financial plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a group of District Sales Managers and sales associates to service and develop local customers within the region and deliver the agreed-upon financial plan
  • Coach, train, and provide feedback to improve associate performance and facilitate a collaborative team selling culture to maximize sales
  • Direct Customer Engagement efforts by enabling the team to provide Sysco customers with expanded service channel options and leverage proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growth
  • Successfully deliver Sysco brand results and manage conversion opportunities within the region while supporting national campaigns and promotions
  • Develop and coordinate sales selling cycles and methodologies, implement strategies for development of sales associates and managers, and utilize Territory Planning data for territory/customers changes or allocations
  • Engage critical/developing customer accounts, ensure proper management of all other accounts, and professionally represent Sysco at community and/or business meetings to promote the company

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education level and 5+ years leading a B2B sales team in a professional sales environment with demonstrated success
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams, coach, counsel, train, and direct associates; supervise and motivate others; and possess strong financial acumen and ability to properly plan and execute business plans
  • Demonstrated skills in consultative selling, networking, and negotiations; business and restaurant operations acumen; and strong interpersonal skills to work with and influence various stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including executing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.
