Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Perioperative Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the peri-operative setting, working closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists, directing and guiding OR Technicians and other personnel as needed.
- Work with other departments to provide a continuum of care and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous, quality patient care.
- Adhere to regulations, standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
