Production Control Specialist

At Bimbo Bakeries USA, we're looking for a skilled Production Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for collecting and analyzing production data, resolving discrepancies, and generating daily production KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Discuss and resolve discrepancies with production resource leaders
  • Generate and distribute daily production KPIs to line teams and functional teams
  • Collect and file food safety documents to ensure SQF audit readiness
  • Report and take action to prevent food safety and quality problems
  • Input product adds and cuts as needed for revisions and production schedule generation
  • Get sales orders from MIPS and create production schedules
  • Provide revisions when changes are needed on schedules
  • Keep up-to-date with WINSPC system, Montrose, and Validators
  • Provide process data to functional teams and line teams to improve performance
  • Participate in and support production to achieve continuous improvement objectives
  • Maintain and update daily associate rosters, tracking vacation, leave, and holidays
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with data entry, MS Word, Excel, database, and other software/applications
Education and Work History:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in Production Control or related field
