Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

The Mechanical Drafter is a key member of the Engineering team at Laser Tech, responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for product development projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, CAD software, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed drawings and designs for product development projects
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure designs meet specifications and requirements
  • Develop and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) and enter parts and assemblies into the ERP system
  • Provide costing details for parts and products
  • Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies and develop recommendations for improving operations
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Drafting or Mechanical Design and 0-2 years of professional experience
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and CAD software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
