Orthopedic Care Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Summit Orthopedics. As a key member of our orthopedic care team, you will work closely with our surgeons to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures, including performing surgical exposure, dissections, and wound closure.
- Triage patient calls and evaluate patient problems, providing timely and effective care.
- Conduct physical exams, take medical history, and interpret images to inform patient care.
- Order diagnostic tests and scans, prescribe medications, and administer injections as needed.
- Counsel patients and families on preventive health care, including pre- and post-operative education.

Qualifications
- Masters of Physician Assistant degree required.
- Licensed as a PA in the state of Minnesota preferred.
- Certified Physician Assistant required.
