Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication and other interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in emergency medicine
Requirements:
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or related specialty
- Current medical licensure in the state of Georgia
