Job Title: Housekeeper On-Call

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper On-Call to join our team at Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles. As a Housekeeper On-Call, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clinic sites, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of assigned clinic sites, including floors, walls, counters, sinks, toilets, doors, and glass surfaces.
  • Restock housekeeping supplies timely and as necessary to ensure adequate availability.
  • Dispose of non-infectious trash on a daily basis, and assist with biohazardous waste disposal as needed.
  • Interact and maintain communication with immediate supervisor regarding housekeeping and clinic maintenance needs.
  • Assist with special projects related to housekeeping as needed.
  • Provide coverage at other unassigned clinic sites or on non-scheduled days as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Motivation to take initiative and ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately.
  • Access to a reliable automobile with a valid California driver's license and state-mandated automobile insurance.
  • Ability to work evenings, overtime, and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes related to the agency's growth and expansion.
  • Ability to use good judgment in deciding priorities with a fluctuating workload.
  • Proven ability and skill in working independently and with a team.
  • Ability to multitask and ensure completion of all assigned responsibilities or deadlines.

  • Ability to work well with others in a professional and team-oriented environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, friendly personality, and ability to motivate staff by promoting teamwork.
  • Willingness to travel.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The Housekeeper On-Call must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. The position also requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
