Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team at Helix Human Services. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support to young children and adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong, supportive relationships with youth, promoting a trauma-informed approach.
  • Engage youth in daily activities, work in groups, and implement the daily routine.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure individual treatment plans are being met.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for youth to thrive.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children in a residential program preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required; training will be provided.
  • Current valid driver's license required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
