Position Overview
The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the finance and executive teams through various financial assessments. This position serves as the primary finance liaison for designated business units within Jobs for Humanity. The Financial Analyst utilizes robust financial expertise and experience in business finance collaboration, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), reporting, and ad-hoc evaluations. This role is integral to a dynamic and committed team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely, relevant, and precise reporting on the performance of various divisions against historical, budgeted, and projected results to enhance transparency for senior management and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of reclassifications and accruals as part of the month-end closing process.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, providing financial and business support across various functions and departments, including creating and analyzing standard and ad-hoc reports while offering insights on potential concerns.
- Compile monthly performance reports that include analysis of sales, expenses, and operating income, along with variances to budget, forecast, and prior year results.
- Conduct sales analysis by format, channel, customer, and division.
- Prepare revenue and operating income bridge analyses.
- Oversee the budget and forecasting process, including overhead expenses, balance sheet, and cash flow planning.
- Develop budget/forecast templates and supporting schedules, as well as manage data entry into financial systems.
- Provide financial support to specific teams, including sales budgeting/forecasting, royalty reviews, and preparation of title profit and loss statements, along with other ad-hoc analyses.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in ensuring data accuracy and timely deliverables.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup, as well as PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in communicating complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated quantitative analysis skills.
- Strong motivation to learn and resolve detailed problems.
- Familiarity with SAP, Cognos, and PowerBI.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or business.
- Three years of experience in a corporate environment.
Exemption Status: Exempt
Physical Requirements:
Requires sustained periods of concentration. Must be capable of multitasking and maintaining focus in a busy environment. Occasional travel may be necessary. Regularly requires working over 40 hours per week.
