Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Behavioral Health RN Leadership/Nurse Manager role.
  • Proven leadership experience in Behavioral Health Nursing.
  • Ability to float to other units and have a well-rounded skill set of all age groups.
  • Comfortable working with the LGBTQ+ patient population.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Resume with psych experience and age groups listed.
  • RTO cannot exceed 7 days.
  • Psych skills checklist (within the last year).
  • 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment.
  • Certifications - certifications don't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain.
  • License - confirm they are willing and eligible to obtain.
  • COVID vaccination and booster - no longer required but please add to profile if vaccinated.
Certification Requirements
  • BLS (AHA).
State License Requirements
  • Vermont.
Additional License Requirements
  • Must be willing and eligible to obtain.
Weekend and On-Call Requirements
  • Every other weekend.
  • Possible call.
