Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
- Assist with electrical maintenance and repairs under supervision.
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, logging any completed work in the maintenance management system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and work areas.
- Work with Production to ensure timely response to equipment failures.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development of skills.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance management software.
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery and tools.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
