Job Title: Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team at MBE CPAs. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a critical role in supporting client relationships and providing basic audit and/or tax preparation services.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
  • Prepare corporate and individual tax returns.
  • Assist with analyzing client financial records to identify potential accounting and auditing issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
  • CPA certification desired or ability to attain.
  • Internship or accounting experience within a public accounting environment highly desired.

Work Schedule:

At MBE CPAs, you'll enjoy the challenge of meeting deadlines during tax season with up to 50-60 hours weeks and the remainder of the year work 30-40 hour weeks flexing the typical Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule around any personal passions or family time.
