The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hospitals and how large hospital systems operate, as well as demonstrated functional knowledge of the healthcare industry and the perioperative space.

The Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities within designated geographic markets/accounts. This will involve analyzing customers' needs, crafting tailored business development strategies, and creating demand for our commercial offerings. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate expertise in CRM software and account management systems, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, the Business Development Director will work closely with senior-level executives and other representatives to generate demand and business development opportunities. They will also serve as a subject matter expert to support content development by relevant internal teams and monitor and report on business development productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 13 years of relevant sales/business development experience, with a strong track record of managing a portfolio of customer accounts and growing sales. They will also need to possess very strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to direct, coach and mentor all levels of teammates.
