Key Responsibilities
  • Phone and Data Management: Answer and direct phone calls, gather referral information, and enter data into our computer system.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate home care services with service providers and personnel.
  • Insurance and Authorization: Assist with insurance eligibility and visit authorizations as requested.
  • Document Management: Create Admit packets and accurately file/scanning documents.
  • Data Entry: Enter demographic, clinical, and financial information into our Home Health Care information system.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Adhere to all divisional, corporate, regulatory, and HIPAA requirements related to patient confidentiality and security.
Requirements
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Knowledge of medical and technical terms, and experience in medical records management and computer use desired.
  • Skills: Excellent phone skills, good computer skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
