We are seeking a talented individual to fill the position of Engineer I in our Department of Public Utilities. As an Engineer I, you will be responsible for performing entry-level professional engineering work, including designing and implementing capital improvement projects for the sewer system. You will also be responsible for assigning and evaluating work of professional and technical staff, checking work for quality and quantity, and preparing plans and specifications for projects.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, you should have a valid State of Ohio certificate as a registered Professional Engineer and a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
